NPC Policies

By purchasing our services, all clients agree to follow all policies outlined below.

Effective January 1, 2024.

General Policies

‍ ‍Communication

  • We strive to respond to all inquiries within 2-3 business days. During busy seasons from April-July, communication may be delayed.

  • Clients that do not meet deadlines nor reply in a timely manner (2 business days), means that Northern Palm Canada cannot guarantee the same service deadline.

  • During busier seasons, please allow further delays in some responses. 

  • Initial consultations are FREE and can be scheduled via our email at northernpalmcanada@gmail.com, the consultation is hosted over the phone. 

‍ ‍Payment & Pricing

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • If the agreed service date changes, we will not be reimbursed the deposit if we cannot have a team available for the changed date. However, where possible, we will reallocate your deposit to your new set date. 

  • Late payments will result in a per day fee added to your invoice. 

  • Northern Palm Canada is entitled to yearly price increases at it’s discretion. Clients (the studio) are under not obligation to renew if the pricing proposal does not work for them.

‍ ‍Cancellations

  • Canceled services are subject to being removed with a 30 day notice for all projects at no additional charge.

  • Canceled services being removed 29 or less days, will be subject to a 10% owing fee per service canceled.

  • Northern Palm Canada is entitled to cancel the services in return for a full refund if the day/event must be canceled. We make every effort to find a solution before needing to cancel under extreme circumstances.

‍ ‍Parent Communication

  • Northern Palm Canada’s primary client in the dance studio. We will ensure order inquiries and questions are responded too only. Any other questions or commentary will not be responded to and forwarded to the studio director.

  • Northern Palm is not responsible for misinformation between clientele and their clients and/or members. We will put forward the best team member for your event and will ensure all tasks are outlined within a contract. 

  • Priority to hire employees and contractors as well as to provide services to clientele regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation or gender.

  • Absolutely no verbal, physical abuse or threats will be tolerated by any party. Immediate action will be taken upon such events.

  • Northern Palm prohibits all forms of harassment of any team member and client based upon that person’s race, colour, religion, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation or pregnancy. Any and all complaints regarding harassment will be investigated and addressed. 

Bullying and Harassment

  • Ownership: All final designs, photographs, and videos remain the property of Northern Palm Canada until full payment is received.

  • Usage Rights: Upon full payment, clients are granted usage rights for personal or commercial use as agreed upon. We reserve the right to use work samples for our portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed.

Photographs, Videos and Recordings

I hereby grant permission to Northern Palm Canada and its representatives to take photographs or videos of the attendees, as consented in the agreement below. The agreement is agreed to on behalf of the participants and their consent of media release. The “client” is responsible to notify and protect their rights in regards to having media at the desired location for the “business” Northern Palm Canada.  

I further grant to Destiny Dance Competition and their representatives the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast and distribute and create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed. I acknowledge that Northern Palm Canada owns all rights to the images and recordings.

Waiver, Indemnity and Release

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the images or recordings or of any written copy. I further waive all moral rights. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings, or materials. I hereby release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the producers from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use incomposite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution. I am 18 years of age or older and I am competent to contract on behalf of my students and my studio. I have read this document before signing below, and I fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this consent, waiver, indemnity and release. This consent, waiver, indemnity and release is binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.
